Food acquaintance: between Italy and Japan

Italian culinary promotion

Only one week ago, I found this page created by two japanese guys: Kenta and Kensaku. They have created a Youtube channel to promote and improve the acquaintance of the italians products; the channel is called Italy Square Channel. They are doing a great job helping the local farmers and companies to promote the real italian food; they are also using the channel to help the italian turism to grow up again after Covid 19. As italian I think they are doing a great job, considering how many fakes italians products are sold all over the world.

Made in Italy fakes

Nowadays, unfortunately , there are a lot of Made in Italy fakes products and it is not easy to explain to the non-italian which are the real products and which are not. The italian food heritage is one of the biggest in the world and it is one of the most loved; for this reason a lot of products are counterfeit: statistics says that, in a scale of ten, six products are fakes. The most widespread fakes products are cheeses as Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, Mozzarella, Provolone, Gorgonzola but also sausages and hams like Prosciutto San Daniele and Mortadella. But the list is long and sometimes is impossible to stop all these fakes products from being sold.

The Italy Square Channel

The channel is rich in videos with a lot of information about italian cities and culinary tradition, which is one of the most important things for italian people. It is dedicated to japanese people but it is also interesting to share and to promote the channels to helps italian economy, producers, farmers and food companies. I’m happy to share the Channel here and I hope you will share also with your readers and in your social networks. And also…why not you join the channel as well? 🙂

Why do I am following the channel?

Well, because I’m really happy when I found someone like these two guys, loving the italian culture, the tradition and food; as italian, is just a little thing I can do to help the country and to defend the real Made in Italy.
